PETALING JAYA: Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp) group CEO Abdul Jalil Abdul Rasheed (pix) has been named deputy chairman for its listed subsidiary Redtone Digital Bhd effective yesterday.
According to Redtone’s Bursa filing, the deputy chairman role was previously held by Datuk Seri Jamil Salleh who resigned on March 31, 2021 due to other commitments.
Jalil was appointed as BCorp group CEO on March 16, 2021. He previously took the helm at Permodalan Nasional Bhd as its president and group CEO, with prior leadership roles in international investment firms Aberdeen Standard Investments and Invesco Ltd.
