You might want to cross a few things off your grocery list before the next time you head to the store. Overall inflation increased by 8.3% between April 2021 and this April, the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. That 12-month increase is a smidge better than it was in March, when it reached 8.5%. But that is likely of little consolation to shoppers at the grocery store.
