Imagine tossing your groceries into a cart as you shop, having the cost calculated in real time and never having to stand in a checkout line again. That soon will be the reality at some Albertsons stores. The company announced Thursday a deal with retail technology startup Veeve to introduce Veeve Smart Carts into a few dozen stores later this year. It's not the usual blah, blah, blah.
