Volkswagen is recalling over 45,000 vehicles over concerns related to a loose transmission ground wire. The March 11 recall posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the defect could increase the risk of a fire. “The transmission ground wire may not have been properly connected during assembly, causing an open electrical circuit,” the agency stated.
